This is gonna be a bit more informal and fun

Ever tried searching for some more obscure knowledge on the internet, only to find that the search results are littered with modern junk? Whether it be movies, shows, or new tech, my proposition is that this is perhaps, in some cases, intentional.

The goal of this isn’t to turn this website into some conspiracy site. However, this idea is at the very least a fun, and at worse, it’s the “deep state” obscuring information from us.

Let’s take some examples: In Wendigoon’s Conspiracy Theory Iceberg videos he comes across an item labeled “Nexus 7” and he is unable to find any results on it because there as since been a Google phone called “Nexus 7”. What if Google was told to create a phone brand line “Nexus” just to cover up clear-web viewers from finding “the real truth”. Now, it would be good to note that “Nexus 7” is probably just a Blade Runner reference, just “wow spooky, what if an android is like a human and we can’t tell”. So not really anything worth hiding.

A modern example of this would be the new Captain America movie that came out in Feb of 2025. Captain America - Brave New World. The subtitle is obviously also the title of Aldous Huxley’s book by the same name. But interestingly, the movie’s original subtitle was “New World Order”. If you’d like you can go to the Wikipedia page for the movie and check it out for yourself. Just Ctrl+F for “New world order”.

It would have been interesting if Hollywood was trying to obscure the search results for “New World Order”. But perhaps the movie wasn’t going to do well enough to burn that name on it (as reviews start rolling in they seem to be negative). So maybe they would like to save the name for a better performing movie, which will actually hide some information.

Just a funny quirky thought.
